Automation Engineer
- Work Experience: 2-4 years of professional experience in developing and maintaining robust automation frameworks.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain high-quality, scalable automation scripts and frameworks using Java and Selenium.
- Collaborate closely with development and product teams to understand requirements and integrate automation into the CI/CD pipeline.
- Analyze and troubleshoot complex technical issues, identifying root causes and implementing effective solutions.
- Continuously evaluate and improve the existing automation infrastructure, processes, and tools.
- Provide clear and concise updates on automation progress, challenges, and results to stakeholders.
- Mentor junior team members and promote best practices in automation and code quality.
- Required Skills: Proficiency in Java programming language. Strong practical experience with Selenium WebDriver for web application automation. Solid understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Quality Assurance (QA) methodologies. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are mandatory. Demonstrated ability to be a proficient, analytical thinker and an effective problem solver. Experience with version control systems, such as Git.
- Good to Have Skills:
- Familiarity with test management tools (e.g., Jira, TestRail).
- Experience with build tools like Maven or Gradle.
- Knowledge of performance and security testing principles.
- Exposure to cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
