Qsome Technologies Pvt. Ltd., operating as Qsome ("we," "us," or "our"), processes personal data of everyone who uses our website at qsome.ai or contacts us about our services. This policy explains what data we collect, why, how long we keep it, who we share it with, and what your rights are under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act) and other applicable laws.
What we collect
We collect a limited amount of personal data, and only when you actively choose to provide it.
When you contact us through our website:

- Email address
- Phone number (optional)
- Company name (optional)
- Any information you choose to include in your message
When you apply for a role:
- Name, email address, phone number
- Resume or CV and supporting documents
- LinkedIn profile or portfolio URL (optional)
- Any other information you include in your application
When you visit our website:
- IP address, browser type, device information
- Pages visited and time spent
- Referrer information
- Cookies (essential and analytics — see Cookies section)
We do not collect financial information, health information, or any other categories of sensitive personal data through this website.
Why we collect it
We use the data above only for the following purposes:
- To respond to your enquiries and provide information about our services
- To evaluate job applications and communicate with candidates
- To improve our website and understand how it is used
- To send service-related communications you have explicitly subscribed to
- To comply with legal obligations
We do not use your data for any other purpose without your explicit consent.
Who we share it with
We share personal data only with:
Service providers who help us operate the website and respond to enquiries — hosting, email delivery, analytics. These providers operate under contracts that restrict them from using the data for any other purpose.
Legal authorities when we are required to do so by law, court order, or government regulation.
Business successors if Qsome's business is transferred to another entity, in which case personal data may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to the same protections as in this policy.
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data. Not for marketing. Not for advertising. Not to anyone, for any purpose.
Where it lives
Personal data submitted through this website is stored on infrastructure provided by Supabase, hosted in the ap-south-1 (Mumbai) region. This keeps data within India.
Some of our service providers (email delivery, analytics) may process data outside India. When personal data is transferred internationally, we ensure the recipient is subject to equivalent protections. As of the date of this policy, no country has been restricted by the Central Government under Section 16 of the DPDP Act.
How long we keep it
We keep personal data only as long as needed for the purpose for which it was collected, then we delete or anonymise it.
- Contact form submissions: 24 months from your last interaction with us, then deleted.
- Job applications: 12 months from the date of application (or longer if you explicitly authorise us to retain your details for future opportunities).
- Analytics data: aggregated and retained for 24 months; individual identifiers are removed after 14 months.
- Marketing subscriptions: retained until you unsubscribe.
Your rights as a Data Principal
Under the DPDP Act, you have the following rights regarding your personal data:
Right to access. You can request a summary of the personal data we hold about you and how we have used it.
Right to correction and erasure. You can ask us to correct inaccurate data, or to delete data that is no longer needed for the purpose it was collected.
Right to withdraw consent. Where we process data based on your consent, you can withdraw that consent at any time. We will stop processing your data on that basis, though earlier processing remains lawful.
Right to grievance redressal. You can raise a complaint about how we have processed your data through our grievance officer (see below). If you remain unsatisfied, you can approach the Data Protection Board of India.
Right to nominate. You can nominate another person to exercise these rights on your behalf in the event of your death or incapacity.

Under the DPDP Act, processing of personal data of children under 18 requires verifiable parental consent. We do not undertake behavioural monitoring of minors.
Security
We protect personal data with reasonable technical and organisational safeguards: encryption in transit, access controls, regular security reviews. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to detect and respond to breaches quickly. If a breach affects your data, we will notify you and the Data Protection Board as required by law.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The current version is always available at qsome.ai/privacy. We will update the "Last updated" date when changes are made and notify you of significant changes through the website or other appropriate means.
